The Story behind Root to Rise
Mindfulness and sound healing have been reliable companions in my life for 10 years, and are precisely helpful in times of overthinking, sleep deficiency, or depressive episodes. Even on a daily ordinary basis, it helps me ground and calm my nervous system, and enhances consciousness.
A life-long Vision
Root to Rise has been a lifelong vision of mine! Despite facing several life challenges, I never gave up on it. Through years of growth, survival, healing, and expansion, I have developed a multi-passion offering that allows me to navigate different methods, tools, and skills based on my client's unique needs. I am passionate about co-creating with them, optimizing their healing journey, and fully embracing the present moment. As a Palestinian citizen of Israel, and due to several re-locations throughout my life, I have come to understand that my real home is within myself - mind, body, soul, and heart. Being solidly rooted and grounded in myself is the backbone of my journey, and I am eager to share this gift with you!

The unique women I’m surrounded by -mom and sisters- have taught me two valuable lessons. Firstly, they showed me that a woman can be strong while still being kind, nurturing, and loving. Secondly, they emphasized the significance of sisterhood and community in achieving sustainable and meaningful empowerment. Having a supportive circle of like-minded individuals can lead to significant transformations. Thus, my journey exemplifies the connection between personal and collective impact, leading me to transform my individual experience into a professional philosophy.
What’s behind the name

The name “Root to Rise” was born in February 2022, during a period when I felt adrift, yearning for guidance, support, protection, and freedom. On a sunny, crisp afternoon, while meditating in the park nearby, a vision slowly unfolded in my mind. Through my third eye, I saw it clearly and warmly—a vision of myself as an integral part of nature. I observed the roots of the surrounding trees converging beneath me, continuing their journey upward through me. With my arms outstretched, swaying gently with the wind, I felt both liberated and grounded. That meditation was a profound reminder that nature and the universe guide and support me, providing everything I need. By rooting deeply within ourselves, we can rise freely.

Za’atar is a wild plant of Palestine and its people’s resistance. Za’atar’s roots grow deeper in autumn and winter, produce an abundance of foliage in spring, and flourish through summer, with rich fragrance and taste. It is a strong and resilient plant, yet has soft small leaves. It is referred to as "green gold" because of how much it is loved and used. It is at the heart of Palestinian culture and cuisine and tells the story of resistance. To learn more about the connection between Za’atar, Palestinians’ relation to land, and resistance to colonization, read this academic article by Rabea Eghbariah and this article by Middle East Eye.
